Using the System Builder
The System Builder turns a repeater-system brief into a ranked starter bill of materials (BOM). It is an engineering intake aid, not a released design or purchase specification. Telewave engineering reviews each quote before an order.
Choose a starting path
Start with the path that matches what you know: enter frequencies and power directly, choose an application to prefill common assumptions, browse catalog parts, or start from a template or bundle. Templates and bundles are starting assumptions; review and adjust them before relying on the recommendation.
Enter and review the system brief
Provide the TX/RX frequency pair, transmit power, and channel plan or channel count requested by the wizard. Add the information needed to describe the installation and constraints. Move through each step and check that the entered values reflect the intended site and radios.
Understand the recommendation
The builder ranks candidate components such as duplexers, isolators, combiners, antennas, and cabinets against the inputs. Read the engineering caveats alongside the BOM: isolation, desense, intermodulation, power derating, and fit can depend on details the tool cannot establish on its own.
When the parts and assumptions look right, add the BOM to a quote or cart as offered. Keep the caveats attached and request engineering review. Do not order or install from an experimental recommendation without that review.
Limits: Outputs are a starting BOM. They do not replace an engineered system design, site measurements, compatibility checks, or final approval.
