Guides to the product search, the quote cart and the engineering tools. Each tool also shows its guide’s quick start at the top of the page.

  • Using the 3D Pattern Viewer

Open a product’s 3D radiation-pattern viewer and inspect the pattern assigned to that antenna. Check the pattern’s status and provenance note first: a synthesized pattern is a model based on published specifications, not a measurement.

  • Using the Antenna Pattern Generator

Enter the antenna’s published specifications to create a synthesized 3D pattern and its 2D plots. Check each value against the source datasheet before building; generated curves are model output, not measured antenna data.

  • Finding products and requesting a quote

Choose a product type, narrow the list with the search box and filters, and open a product to check its specifications. Add what you need to the quote cart from the product page, set the quantities in the cart, and submit your contact details. Telewave usually replies within 1–2 business days.

  • Using the System Builder

Build a preliminary bill of materials from a repeater-system brief. Choose a starting path, confirm the system inputs, and review the ranked components and engineering caveats; the BOM is an intake aid, not a released design.

  • Using the Coverage Calculator

Estimate RF coverage radius from transmitter power, frequency, antenna gains, receiver sensitivity, feedline loss, antenna heights, and receiver environment. Choose an available propagation model and review its limits; results are planning estimates, not site-specific coverage guarantees.

  • Using the Feedline Calculator

Estimate coax loss and antenna-end power from cable type, frequency, run length, transmitter power, and connector assumptions. Compare a second feeder and confirm connector loss is included when sending estimates to System Builder; this is a planning estimate, not an installed measurement.

  • Using Channel Change Comparison

Paste the current channel plan and the proposed plan to see structural changes and screen each plan for frequency coincidences. A screening hit is something to assess, not a signal level or isolation requirement; a clean screen is not desense clearance.

  • Using the Commissioning Record

Record what was measured after installation, including the measurement path, reference plane, frequency, conditions, equipment, and criterion used. Building a record documents observations; it does not certify that an installation is acceptable.

  • Using Antenna Selection

Filter catalogue antennas by operating frequency, coverage type, gain, and sector beamwidth, then compare the candidates and their pattern status. Treat results as candidates for discussion; frequency matching and synthesized patterns do not establish site suitability or measured performance.

  • Using the Antenna Downtilt Calculator

Enter the antenna height, receiver height and the datasheet's half-power vertical beamwidth to see where the beam meets the receiver plane, or enter a distance to find the required tilt. The result is a flat-earth planning figure with a clearly labelled 4/3-earth check.

  • Estimating coverage, keeping results and asking Telewave engineering

The Coverage Calculator estimates how far a transmitter reaches from a link budget. Keep a result privately in My results, or attach it to an engineering request so a Telewave engineer can review it. A result attached to a draft request is sent when you submit the request.

  • Finding and Reopening My Results

Find calculator results you saved or sent, then reopen them in the calculator that created them. Saved results are private; sent results remain associated with their engineering request.

  • Using the VSWR Calculator

Convert a known VSWR, return loss, reflection coefficient, or percent return into the other quantities. Optionally add incident power to estimate reflected power, or review a sweep table; calculated values do not replace calibrated measurements.
