Using the 3D Pattern Viewer
What this page is for
The viewer helps you inspect the shape and orientation of an antenna pattern associated with a product. The pattern’s status determines what conclusions you may draw.
Before you start
Open a product page with a pattern-viewer control. Read the status and provenance note in the viewer before interpreting the model.
Steps
- Open the antenna’s product page and choose View 3D Radiation Pattern.
- Confirm the product and model name shown in the viewer.
- Read the pattern status and note. If it says experimental or synthesized, treat it as a visualization derived from published specifications, not measured data.
- Use the viewer controls to rotate or inspect the pattern, where available. Return to the product page for published specifications and downloadable files.
Reading the result
The rendered shape shows the pattern represented by the selected file or model. A synthesized pattern may estimate the main lobe from catalogue data; off-plane details can be assumptions.
Limits
An experimental synthesized pattern has not been validated against measured 3D data. Do not use it for coverage prediction, product ranking, or system design. A visualization is not engineering approval. Ask Telewave Engineering when a decision depends on validated pattern data.
Next
Use the product datasheet for published specifications, or contact engineering when you need interpretation or validated data.
