Telewave.io & DAMM Partnership at IWCE 2026 – BS422 SDR-Based LMR Solution

Fernando introduces the BS422, a cutting-edge LMR infrastructure solution born out of a partnership between Telewave.io and DAMM, a Danish technology company. The BS422 leverages Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology, making it the most compact and flexible LMR solution on the market — replacing traditional hardware with software to dramatically reduce size, cost, and complexity. The unit supports up to four repeaters and is compatible with DMR Tier 2, DMR Tier 3, analog, TETRA, and the upcoming P25 conventional, allowing operators to mix protocols into a single network or run them separately. Built-in combiners, duplexers, and a trunking controller eliminate the need for shelters, racks, and climate control systems, making the BS422 incredibly easy to install, maintain, and relocate. In the live demo, Fernando shows a TETRA radio from Sepura and a DMR radio from Tait — two devices that wouldn't normally communicate — seamlessly integrated into a single network using the BS422.
